Road base is an ideal product for domestic or commercial construction projects. When used ideally at a depth of 100mm it provides a great base for walkways, paved areas, driveways and driveway repairs.

Road base gets its compaction due to it being made up of different sized aggregates from 20mm stone down to 4mm dust, because of this, all the air voids are filled with material making it a hard compact surface.

If using as a base for paving a thin layer of sand will be needed to provide a level surface for the pavers to sit on.
